Maternity Bridesmaid Dress

Our usual modification to make a maternity bridesmaid dress is to move the waistline upward. The dress will become empire waist but will keep other details of the original design. Of course there will be other ways to modify a dress. You are welcome to discuss with us and give us your opinions.


For a group of bridesmaids, we usually prepare dresses for other bridesmaids first and reserve adequate fabric from the same 'dye lot' for the mother-to-be. Her dress will be made about 4 weeks before the wedding, basing on her updated measurements plus some allowance.
