Terms of Service
By placing and accepting an order, both the Client and BridesmaidTailor.com (the Tailor) agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions:
(A) Ordering
Once received the online, fax, phone or mail order from the Client , the Tailor should start preparing as soon as possible. By placing an order, the Client confirm that all the measurements and instructions on that order are correct and final. Once placed, an order cannot be cancelled. Only under very special circumstances and in the sole discretion of the Tailor, and provided that the order has not yet entered the preparation process, the order can be canceled upon request from the Client subject to a 10% handling fee (to cover the administrative expenses and credit card company charges etc.). Upon confirmation, 90% of the invoice total will be refunded to the Client. Any change in the measurements or instruction should be made within 24 hours from ordering.
(B) Measurements
The fit of an order is only as good as the accuracy of the measurements given by the Client. The Client will give EXACT measurements WITHOUT ALLOWANCE.
(C) Payment
By placing an order, the Client authorizes the Tailor to debit the payment immediately. The Tailor will start working on the order once the payment has been processed successfully.
(D) Shipping
Shipping rates and time required are as per Shipping Rates Chart. The Tailor should not be responsible to any delay caused by any uncontrollable factors including lengthened custom clearance, postal delay, and any human or natural disaster. Delivery to Postal Box is not recommended. The Tailor should not be responsible for any delay thus caused.
(E) Return Policy
THE CLIENT UNDERSTANDS THAT DUE TO MADE-TO-MEASURE NATURE OF THE GARMENT, ALL ORDERS ARE NOT REFUNDABLE, NOR RETURNABLE, NOR EXCHANGEABLE. SHOULD THERE BE A MISTAKE MADE BY THE TAILOR, THE REMEDY IN PARAGRAPH (F) WILL BE APPLICABLE.
(F) Remedy for mistake made by the Tailor
The only exception to paragraph (E) is if the Tailor made an error in the correct measurements given by the Client outside of the definitions given in "Measurements" as in paragraph (B) above. In such case the Tailor is obliged to, at his discretion, alter or remake the garment for FREE under the following terms: - If the Tailor requests the Client to return the garment to our Hong Kong office for alternation, the Tailor will reimburse postage (maximum up to US$10) to the Client.
- The garment will be altered or remade EXACTLY to the ORIGINAL measurements and instructions given in the original order. No subsequent amendment is acceptable. (Should the Client request any change to the original order, fees as mentioned at paragraph (G) below will become applicable.)
- The tailor should alter/remake the garment as soon as possible and ship it back to the Client by Speedpost. The Client understands and agrees that the above-mentioned remedy would be the full and final solution to the problem. Due to variation in properties and calibrations of different monitors, the colors on the screen may not 100% reflect true colors of the fabrics. Certain color variation should be expected and thus under no circumstance color variation would be considered an error.
(G) Remedy to mistake made by the Client
Sometimes clients may make mistake in taking measurements. For example, clients might make rooms to the measurements instead of giving exact measurements as advised. The Tailor has the responsibility to help the Client in altering or remaking the garment on a no-profit base. The Client would return the garment to the Tailor at the Hong Kong office and agree to pay the following cost:
- If the garment can be altered (e.g. letting out a little bit or making it shorter/narrower): FREE
- If the garment cannot be altered but can be changed to another style (e.g. a dress too short which can be altered to become a top): 25% of the original garment cost
- If the garment should be remade: 50% of the new garment cost
The Client will pay for the actural return shipping cost as determined by the Client.
(H) Return Address
All returns should only be made directly to the Tailor at the Hong Kong office:

(I) Export/Import Duties and Fees
Different countries have their own export/import regulations. Should there be any export/import duty or fee aroused, as a general rule, the Tailor and the Client will be responsible individually for such duty or fee imposed by their own country.
